Leeandria “LeeLoo” Marie Rose (°1991, Danville, IL, USA)
I am an artist who works across media with concentrations in literary arts, musical composition, and mixed-medium expression. My practice centers around creating intense personal moments meant to evoke emotion, dislodge assumptions, and provoke complicated thought by any means necessary.
I generate poetics, abstractions, socio-political awareness, and fictional or experiential universes often born from the edges of alienation, neurodivergence, morality, and mortality. My work exists in flux: it can shift from simplistic to chaotic, dreamlike to dark, or from humorous to rehabilitative. Catharsis is my oldest companion.
Through free-flow creation, muse-driven practices, and strategic structure, I explore themes of innovation and wisdom, mental inertia and chaos, cliché and critique. I embrace both the oblique and the obvious in service of transformation. My art is often a call to action sometimes whispered, sometimes wailed.
Approach my work like candy you’ve found on the floor.
Perhaps if I and we could be a beneficial god, a caring creator, we could all find a way to express ourselves instead of being harmful entities.
